
Competitive Cheer is a year round sport designed to have something for people of all ages and abilities.  Athletes are placed on teams with athletes of similar age and ability, and compete against other teams from around the country. We offer 3 different cheer program options to fit all families’ budgets and commitment levels. While pushing our athletes to be the very best, we take pride in offering the safest environment possible. Our energetic, mature, and experienced coaches are passionate about their jobs. From the moment you join, you will experience the difference at Dream Athletics!

Ages 3-4
Our Cheer Tots program is a 6-week session designed for young aspiring cheerleaders. This introductory class teaches the FUNdamentals of cheerleading, focusing on movement, building confidence, and learning essential skills in a supportive, high-energy environment. Athletes will enjoy a fun, structured setting where they can develop coordination, make new friends, and build a strong foundation for future cheerleading.

Ages 5-12
Season runs in sessions at various times through out the school year.
Our Recreational cheer program is the best way to learn all about cheerleading in a fun and supportive class setting! Practices are once per week for 45 minutes, see specific age group breakdowns below. Next Session Runs November 12th-February 4th with an end of session performance at our local cheer event Dare to Dream on Saturday February 6th! Ages 5-6 Thursdays 4:15pm, Ages 7-8 5:15pm, Ages 9-12 Thursdays 6:15pm.

Perfect for athletes who are new to all star cheer! Our Half Season Novice program introduces athletes to the exciting world of competitive cheer in a fun, supportive environment. Athletes practice once per week, learn a full routine featuring stunts, tumbling, jumps, motions and dance, and perform at one local showcase and two Bay Area competitions. No tryout is required, making this the perfect starting point for new cheerleaders.

Our Mid Season Novice program is a shorter commitment option designed for beginner athletes or athletes wanting to check out All Star Cheer. This program focuses on building confidence, teamwork and cheer fundamentals while preparing athletes for one local performance and one competition in Santa Clara. Athletes practice once per week and no tryout is required. This is a great way to experience all star cheer with a manageable schedule and commitment level.

For athletes ready to take the next step in competitive cheer, our Prep program offers increased training and competition opportunities while maintaining a balanced commitment level. Athletes practice twice per week, attend four competitions and two local performances, and continue developing their stunting, tumbling and performance skills. Team placement evaluation is required and athletes are placed according to age and skill level.

Our Elite program is the highest level of competitive cheer offered at Dream Athletics. Elite athletes train 2-3 times per week and compete at regional and nationally ranked events throughout the season. These teams are designed for dedicated athletes who are committed to pushing their skills, supporting their teammates and striving for excellence both on and off the competition floor.
